About the event

New Day Initiative is planning a visit to the Haematology Ward at a referral hospital to support women, men, and children living with sickle cell disease and other blood disorders.

During our visit, we will spend time with patients, offer encouragement, listen to their stories, and provide practical support to help improve their comfort and well-being.

Our goal is to provide essential items such as clothing, bed sheets, blankets where available, bottled drinking water, toilet paper, soap, detergent, buckets, diapers (pampers) for patients who need them, and other everyday necessities, depending on the resources and donations available. We also hope to bring hope, kindness, and emotional support to patients and their families during their time in hospital.

Through this outreach, New Day Initiative aims to remind every patient that they are valued, cared for, and not alone. We welcome volunteers, partners, and donors to join us in bringing comfort, dignity, and…
